Captain Ryan K. Iannelli, 27, of Clarksboro, was killed in action while serving his country in Afghanistan, September 28, 2011. Ryan was a Cobra helicopter Pilot with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 269. He was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School and Oral Robert University in addition to being an esteemed officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Captain Iannelli was survived by many adoring family and friends including his mother Donna (nee Futia), father Kenneth, sister Amanda, grandfather and US Army Veteran Angelo Futia, grandmother Rose Futia and grandfather Leo Iannelli.

Ryan loved life and lived each day to its fullest. Some of the earthly things he loved included his family, friends, baseball, good jokes, home cooked Italian food, his Country and the Marine Corps. However, his first love was Jesus Christ. Ryanís relationship with the Lord was paramount and the driving force of his life. He delighted in sharing the Gospel and seeing souls won for Godís Kingdom. Ryan continued to leave his mark on this world even in death, as his testimony is still bringing souls to a relationship with Christ.

Ryan will be sorely missed by those left behind, but his family and friends ask that you rejoice with them and celebrate not only the life he lived on this earth but the life he has eternally now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Family and friends are invited to his life celebration on Saturday, at the Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Washington Twp. NJ, where you may be received after 11:15am until service time promptly at 12noon. Interment will be at the Gloucester County Veteran Cemetery, Monroe Twp. It is also requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ryanís name to the Wounded Warriors Project at woundedwarriorsproject.com

Arrangements by LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad Street, Paulsboro NJ 08066. To share condolences please visit www.landolfifuneralhome.com
