As most of you know, I am a Viet Nam vet. PTSD is insidious and long
lasting as many of my friends know. I'll confess to you that I have
struggled with survivor guilt since 1969. The US is growing a whole new
crop of affected individuals. You may be one. Without a doubt you know
one or more. The saying, "Some gave all, all gave some." is a truism. As
true today as it has been in and after every conflict that our nation
has called on its citizen soldiers, airmen, and sailors.

Point Man International Ministries is a ministry of Viet Nam vets
initially for Viet Nam vets. We have been ministering to our brothers
and sisters-in-arms to help get them through. Other nation's soldiers
have reached out to PMIM. For example, in early 2006 I received a call
from an active duty Army major's wife. He was displaying extreme anger
directly attributable to his Iraq tour. She stated that they had talked
about it. He felt that he could not seek help through official channels
because there would be a career impact. There are those out there that
have this perception. True or not-perception is reality for them. They
may not seek help through Army channels. Point Man is an option.

The answer is not found within psychology or drugs though these may
help. The answer is and always will be a solid, scripture based, faith
filled relationship with Jesus. He heals. He delivers. He strengthens.
PTSD for us means Pray To the Savior Daily. I want each of you to know
there is support.

Please visit this site. Use it as a tool. Keep it close for those that
are returning. Pray for us. Consider us with your support.
