Life is hard, Lord.
I am forever falling, forever writhing in agony and forever repenting.
In essence, I am the epitome of sin, deserving of hell on a grand scheme.
A co-conspirator in the death of the Balm of Gilead;
Treasonous, an adulterer with other gods.
Restore me, O God
Deliver me from the bondage, from the hand of an enemy who seeks my death.
Everyone sees me for the hypocrite that I am; crucifying the Son of Man afresh, turning from me and laughing.
How many have I turned from You?
Forgive me and cleanse me once again O Lord, there are no excuses.
The morning is coming and I am fatigued,
Yet I wait for Your mercies and know You are faithful.
