Remember how you would always wake up and before putting on any article of clothing, you would shake it out, just in case any insects, creatures varmits etc that might have crawled in ?

Well in the dessert they dont have that problem. The varmits are big enough to shake the soldier out of the clothing they are interrested in trying on!!
