NORFOLK - Ricky R. Stephan Jr., 25, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
An active duty member of the United States Marine Corps, Ricky served two tours of duty in Iraq over his five year career with the Corps. He also enjoyed attending the Wave Church, spending time studying with his friends.
Ricky is survived by a large, loving family that includes his mother, Veda Stephan and her fiancE, Tony Ostiguy; his father, Ricky Stephan Sr. and his wife, Amy; his daughter, Brianna Lynn Stephan; and his girlfriend, Charlotte Shelton. Also surviving are two sisters, Britney and her fiancE, Joseph Mullens, and Heather Stephan; brother, Noah Stephan; grandmother, Shirley Morris; uncle, Thomas Morris and his girlfriend, Christina Heath; aunt, Lillian Morris; niece, Skyla Mullens; and two dogs, Ollie and Roscoe.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 4, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. The graveside service, which will include full military honors, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, with the Rev.
