Bruce Emery, 82, died May 29, 2009, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. He was born in Port Jervis, N.Y., and lived in Barefoot Bay for four years, coming from Middletown, N.Y. Before retirement, he was a carpenter in Milford, Pa., and San Diego, Calif. He served in the Marines during World War II and the Korean War. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his fiancee, Lucy Sicina of Barefoot Bay; daughters, Tammy Wykoff and Lisa Scheibner, both of Milford; brother, James Emery of Milford; two sisters, Virginia "Peach" Robinson of Honesdale, Pa., and Fern Van Arsdale of Milford; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. SERVICES: There will be no services. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
