Retired Mill Wright-Graniteville Company --- GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. Jimmie Lee Adams, entered into rest Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at the residence. Mr. Adams was born in Aiken County, S.C., a retired Mill Wright with the Graniteville Company, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Veteran serving in the Korean War, and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Cleveland Adams, Jimmie M. Adams; three grandchildren, Lee Montgomery, Franklin J.W. Adams, Colleene E. Adams. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 8, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery in North Augusta, S.C., with Rev. Dewain French officiating. No procession, Family and friends will assemble at the grave. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd., Martinez.
