Richard "ROCKY" Carroll II ----- Early in the morning on May 29, 2009, Rocky was taken from those who love him by a massive heart attack. He was 40 years old. He now walks, pain-free, beside his Saviour. Rocky moved to Big Bear when he was 9 years old. His first love was baseball, followed closely by barrel racing on his horse Sherif, downhill skiing, and motorcycles. He Graduated from Chautauqua High School in 1987, and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He received two Meritorious Masts and two Meritorious promotions, graduating boot camp as a Lance Corporal. He moved to Spokane Washington in 1994, where he lived for the last 15 years. He was the owner-operator of Seattle?s Best Steak and Seafood, LLC, which he started with his wife of ten years. He loved Spokane, but always considered Big Bear as his home town. He is survived by his wife Elaine, son Richard III (Little Rock) Carroll, and daughters, Maison Jade Carroll and Kaila TenBrink all of Nine Mile Falls, Washington; His parents, David and Barbara Brazz of Big Bear City, California; his father, Richard Carroll I of Seattle, Washington; sister, Veronica (Ronnie) Langley of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers Doug Brazz of Sidney, Maine, and Ryan Carroll of San Diego, California; nieces Barbara, Taylor, Jamie, Stephanie, Sarah and Sheylah; and nephews Vann, Caleb, and Cole. He was recently pre-deceased by his Step Mom Colleen, of Seattle Washington. Services will be held on Friday Morning, June 5, 2009, officiated by Pastor Doug Mundy at Lake Spokane Community Church, 6418A Highway 291, Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026. 509-276-5477.
