Richard B. Hartt, 89, passed away on May 28, 2009. A native of Bergen County, N.J., he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and later worked as a merchandising agent for K-Mart for many years. He was also a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, June Albrecht-Hartt; daughter, Christine Hartt, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Richard M. Hartt, of Troy, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carmela, who was also the mother of his children.
A memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Father William Mooney officiating. Entombment and a memorial Mass will be held in Troy at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined. A memorial donation may be made to Corpus Christi Building Fund, 6175 Datil Pepper Road, St. Augustine, Fla. 32086.
