MICHAEL JOSEPH BERGANIO --- Michael was born October 17, 1980 in Panorama City, California. He entered into Eternal Life on May 17, 2009 in Panorama City, California, at the age of 28. Michael was laid to rest at San Fernando Mission Cemetery Saturday, May 23, 2009. Survived by his loving and caring mother, Christina; father, Fermin; d aughter, Angelee; brother, Robert; fiance, Claudia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael attended West Linn High School in Oregon and graduated in 1999. He then immediately entered the United States Marine Corps, where he served eight years. He proudly fought for his country in Afghanistan and Iraq before being Honorably Discharged with the Rank of Sergeant in February 2008. After leaving the Corps he was hired by Brinks and although his career was short he became close to many fellow cowork ers. Michael was a dedicated and committed father with a deep love for his daughter, Angelee. He also cared for and loved his fiance's daughters, Gabby, Lorena and Kayla, as if they were his own. Michael was the most kind hearted and caring man to all he met and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be remembered for his love of country and family. His passions were the Marine Corps, motorcycles, music, chick flicks and watches. He touched many lives with his contagious s mile and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him especially his family, friends and Fellow Marines.
