Aleric Choki Uyehara Born on September 17, 1939 in Honolulu. At rest on May 25, 2009 in Mountain View, CA. Graduated from McKinley High School in 1957. Served in the US Marine Corps. Service engineer for Ash Equipment. Dedicated and active member of Tri-City Association, Mountain View Buddhist Temple, and San Francisco Okinawa Kenjinkai. Preceded in death by his sister Osame Helen Komatsu and Shinichi Uyehara. Survived by his wife, Toshiko Uyehara, daughters Janell Yumiko (Ryan) Tao, and Cheryl Kikuye Uyehara; grandson Jeremy Tamotsu Tao; brothers: Jitsumyo Uyehara, Iwao Raymond Uyehara and sister Shizuko Akamine. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service to be held on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 pm at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple, 575 N. Shoreline Blvd, Mountain View. Aloha attire.
