William "Bill" Henry Yarnall, 81, of Jacksonville, died April 23, 2009, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Infant of Prague atholic Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of the Semper Fidelis Lodge, FOP, DAV, Order of the Purple Heart, and the Order of the Chosen Few.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Coastal Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery with full military honors and Masonic rites with Father Tom Davis officiating. Burial will be at Coastal Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Survivors include wife, Peggy Yarnall of Jacksonville; son, William Henry Yarnall Jr. and wife Ginger of Spotsylvania, Va.; daughter, Cheryl Y. Matarese of Jacksonville; brother, Charles G. Yarnall of Lumberton, N.J.; sisters, Geraldine Ann Schmidt of Landover, Md. and Betty L. Misciana of Springfield, Pa.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bill Yarnall to the Salvation Army, 535 Bell Fork Rd., Jacksonville NC 28540.
