Duffy, I guess we all need each other and God, we never want to forget him ! I mite have been one you trained, except it was called Raider School, I went thru it in 72. You worked in the Northern Training Area. Right ? And thanks for the kind words.

Yes, the Counter Guerrilla Warfare Instruction School was in the NTA, 26 miles from Camp Schwab.

We had a Unit Sign and patch - Two crossed Ghurka knives with a standing Cobra in the center - laid over the 3rd Marine Division Patch. Top of knives and cobra read Counter Guerrilla Warfare - bottom read - Instruction School. It was a tent camp then, buried in mud.... that's been a while. Perhaps, even another lifetime?
