Tomika Renee Perdomo was born April 28, 1969 in Detroit, MI to Deborah Young and David Dail, Jr. Both parents preceded her in death.
On October 12, 1992, she married Gustavo (Tony) Perdomo. Tomika graduated from Cass Tech High School in Detroit, MI. She graduated with an Associates degree from Central Texas College and was approximately 4 courses away from earning her Bachelors degree. She served over 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring at the rank of 1stSgt. She served her country admirably, having earned the following Personal awards: Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. Tomika confessed to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from her home in Pensacola, FL in the presence of family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gustavo (Tony) Perdomo; her son, Julian; her daughter, Mercedes; her stepfather, John Pritchard; her sisters, Pamela Loyd, Gail Harris, Faye (Dail) Berkley, and Doreen Head; her brothers-in-law, Keith Loyd, Sr., Otis Harris, and Anthony Head; her brothers, Maurice Dail, Marvin Dail, and John Edward Pritchard; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Joe Morris & Son Funeral Home with LCDR Cassie L. Allen, Chaplain, officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Viewing will be held Monday, January 19, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Joe Morris & Son Funeral Home.
