Jr. Eulice Cole, 74, of Evansville, died early Saturday morning, January 17, 2009, at his home with his family by his side.

He formerly was employed with Singer Sewing Machine Company, later with Kirby Vacuum, and retired from J.R. Enterprise. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jr. was a member of Frendrich Golf Club, enjoyed bowling and golfing with Mark and Jo Nell, and watching his son, Mark, race stock cars all over the U.S. and followed the horse circuit with Bryan.

Jr. is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan L. (Falls) Cole; daughters, Gail Buchanan and husband, Donnie, and Glenda Vinson and fiance, Terry Egan; sons, Mark D. Cole and wife, Lori, and Bryan D. Cole, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Brandi Herndon, Amanda Vinson, Brad Cole, Chris Cole and wife, Kim, Stephanie Royster and husband, Cole, Lavon Wilson, Zach Wilson and wife, Carla, Malorie Wilson, Stephen Alexander and Colleen Alexander; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Myra Sue Walker and husband, Jerry, of Evansville, and Jo Nell (Cole) Waltz of Columbia, Mo.; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Cole; brothers, George, Garnett, William and Ernest Cole; sisters, Dorothy Kasinger, Geneva Hill, Betty Kemp and Anna Lou Cole; mother and father-in-law, Gilbert and Thelma Falls; brother-in-law, James "Bobo" Falls; and great-granddaughter, Faith Robertson Vinson.

Services 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 First Ave. Evansville, with Rev. Art Christmas officiating. Entombment will be in Locust Hill Mausoleum.

Visitation will be Monday, January 19, 2009, from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
