Vincent S. Harvey, 83, of Neptune City passed away on Thursday at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Watertown, NY, he lived most of his life in Neptune. Vincent retired after 20 years service as a Master Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps and more recently was retired after more the 20 years as project manager from Lockheed Corporation. Son of the late Dayton and Clair Hitchcock Harvey, father of the late Michael Harvey, brother of the late Lucius Harvey and Stuart Harvey, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary McGarrity Harvey; a brother, Warren Harvey of Pleasanton, TX; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Turner of Hamilton, Catherine O'Connor of Manahawkin, and 18 nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St. in Hamilton with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am in St. Raphael's Church. Burial will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetey in Wrightstown. Friends may call on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Memorial Home.
