Ruth C. Faubert, 91, passed away Dec. 21, 2008, in St. George, Utah.
Ruth was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Logan, Utah, to Newell J. and Ethel Smith Crookston.
During her life she served in the Marine Corps from 1943 to 1945. Ruth met and married her husband, Robert Faubert, while in the military. They married on Feb. 5, 1944. They have three children; Marie Louise Temple, Robert Faubert Jr. and James C. Faubert. In 1940 she graduated from Utah State University with a degree in teaching. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Ruth is survived by her children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will be Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221.
